To back up data on cluster nodes

The Backup or Restore Wizard starts by default, unless it is disabled.

2. Follow the wizard instructions, selecting All information on this computer on the What to Back Up page.

   This will back up all data on the node and all the cluster disks currently owned by that node. Cluster disks not owned by that node will not be backed up.

Important

• You will need a blank 1.44 MB floppy disk to save your system settings and media to contain the backup files. If your computer does not have a floppy drive, see "Troubleshooting the Backup Utility" in Related Topics.
• If a cluster disk owned by the node being backed up fails over to another node during the backup process, the backup set will not contain a full backup of that disk.
